Guess what? My blog is active again. Yay! the last time i posted anything was on the 30th of August 2010... which was 9 months ago.... DAMN LONG AGO!

Since then i've only been blogging (sort of..) on tumblr (www.raeesa.tumblr.com) and i update my twitter a lot! @raeesa_sya follow me there too!

Peace be upon you my brothers and sisters.

Previous posts were deleted by me today. mostly those consisting vanity and inappropriate rants on petty things. i would like to start with an apology to those I've hurt and done wrong to. i hope you (kind humble beings) would forgive me. yes you, you, you and you. i forgive all of you. ok :) however, if you you really don't want to forgive me, you don't have to. you don't even have to like me and probably some of you might hate me till the day you die. lol. but at least i am now taking this opportunity to ask for forgiveness. it's never to late to ask for forgiveness anyway (i believe). (wah i typed so many of the word 'forgiveness' in this paragraph.. huhu MUST STRESS on that cause im really serious!!! huhuhu) why am i doing this??? God have showed me love by sending me one of his angels and i wanna be thankful to him for that.

Secondly, as a woman, my biggest sin would be vanity. don't we all want to look pretty? we want this and that so much that we fail to realize that what we look like to those that matters don't matter. physical attraction could just go as far because one day, all beauty would be lost. what do we have then? nothing. yes nothing.

So, lets start with nothing and see how far we'll go because behind that every mortal living soul, there's a bigger entity whom millions of people seek to when in chaos, misery and happiness. it's time we reflect upon ourselves and start to be thankful with what we have instead of trying to be in a rat race with something that's temporary and insignificant.

A lovely girl asked me what's the meaning of sheandroid.

in summary, the concept behind the name sheandroid was derived from the word 'she' as in female(myself) and 'android' which means a 'humanoid' or 'artificially created being that resembles a human being'. in context, by my understanding, when i blog, it's through a form of media. the internet. my blog is just a collective of codes and pixels that are stored in a place. you don't hear it directly from me but through a virtual space that anyone can log into and interact. so by saying she android i'm actually saying my android. 'she' is just another way of saying her (her as in mine) and the word 'android' represents my artificially created being which sole purpose acts only as a medium for a virtual interaction without loosing the characteristics of what i would actually be like in reality. :D

owh ya, i was watching a documetary on designers in class the other day and it got me thinking that most people would say to think outside the box. i believe we should throw away the box and start from nothing. why do you need a box anyway? kankankan. like function and practicality over creating mindless junk that we designers keep on creating. there's a whole debate that i could talk about. hmm.

like if a phone is good enough why do you still need a casing for it? what's pop my bery for? those bb covers. i know you have like 5 different bb covers in 5 different colours. what for?? create junk only. if the product is good enough you dont need the covers. find a better solution/ material. scratch free the same material you people use for jet fighter air craft.. nasa came up with a few scratch proof materials if im not mistaken. then again itll be because of the cost. probably then the hp would be pricy-er but think about it. if we could find a solution and an invention of a better material to make the cover so it satisfies the needs of everyone without forking money to get things such as covers.. now i believe that's a better invention.

then again.. economic wise. probably they made the phone in such way that it would be a necessity to get those covers because it creates job opportunities for a lot of people in china and the rest of the world to make underpaid phone covers/ accessories in some dodgy factory. and phone companies will get more money when customers have to buy 5 different colours for their bb covers ;) good marketing strategy. but yeah... junk junk junk... so please we should really stop creating so much junk in this fucking polluted world anyway.

owh ya if you guys rajin, go and read on kenya hara. he's unbelievably inspiring ♥

studying graphic design is actually nothing like what i thought it would be. today in class i was learning psychology. how different types of personality would effect a team. we talked about carl jung and siegmund freud. i like design management class. it's so interesting. the class is more like a facilitation on a certain design management topic. pretty much a discussion. you can curse, debate, shout fight and what not to prove your point. see damn interesting right. huhu

i feel so lazy lately. and yesterday i bought a movie ticket and watched it alone at 11am in the morning -.- i feel like i want to be alone the past few days. so depressing. i can't think straight and not inspired at all. what is wrong with me?? i seriously feel a lot of hatred and im supposed to pass all of this when i was younger since im no longer a teenager. lol.

school just started but im not ready for it. sigh. i should stop with all this hating and emo-ness and just be happy. seems like i need to resolve some unseen issue that's been bothering me so much first and figure out what to do next. haihh.

i haven't been updating for a while. been so busy with work. my only off day is FRIDAY.. yes i have to work on weekends FML :( huhu. so tiring!!

i want a high cut black converse. or at least a black sk8 hi cut vans. sigh. been wanting one for the past one year. no..i think longer. haha.

lately when i go out i like to wear false eyelashes. not the tarian-melayu-diva-ish-drag-eyelashes but the subtle ones. and i stick them using tweezers. and because i've been wearing them so often, it takes me less then 1 min to put it on. faster than wearing mascara and it looks much natural. aww. serious! you guys should try it as well! i want to post before after photos but it's currently 3:39am. buang tabiat gila pakai fake eyelashes sambil camwhore time time macam ni.. sigh -.- anyway, i bought my fake eyelashes when i was in vietnam. so funny. i wanted to get gifts for atin and suet there but didnt know what. so after much thought, i bought each of them 3 boxes of fake eyelashes! 1 box got 10 pairs! hahaha. tamak gila. :)

owh on friday i wanted to bake cookies. so i bought brown sugar, butter and white sugar. but tak sempat buat. so postpone to sunday. then on sunday night i wanted to bake cookies but my vanilla essence dah expired so had to wait till morning to get new ones. then today after i got the vanilla essence and did the cookie dough i realize i had no more parchment paper. SIGH!! so now must postpone to tomorrow. WTF..

i know i'm 6 days late to be talking about how i feel about 1 year ago. i honestly feel awesome|satisfied|content|happier now. i think 2010 will be a brilliant year with lots of opportunities and possibilities. i am thankful to be who i am and will continue to cherish each and everyday.

the begining of 2009 was difficult, exhausting and ridiculous. too stressfull that by the middle of the year i decided enough was enough and went away for a little while. (best time of my life!) it's true that with every hardship, if we managed to get through it, we'll learn a valuable lesson and things will soon get better because in most cases, a situation usually will get worst before it gets better! i did not turn myself away from my problems. i solved it then i went away. i made sure it's dealt/talked about then only i can find peace/move on.

during my 3 months of isolation from the 'usual', i've transformed drastically into a different person. i think the changes were for the good as i now tell things for what it is. if it's blue, it's blue! i know some say i should be more sensitive, but seriously don't ask my opinion then tell me to be sensitive...??? even though i know people would only want to hear what they want to hear. hmmm. NEHHH.. not gonna happen!

however, if you DID NOT ask for my opinion, i will of course say NOTHING. why find problem when there's no problem?!?! jangan jaga tepi kain orang! and do not say anything if you don't have anything nice to say unless they ask for it lah.. kan? but i'll be honest la. if it's nice of course i'll say it is nice :) gitu dehh. don't ask me to do a personality survey about other people. suka hati mereka lah nak jadi apa pun. janji tak kacau hidup i.

why am i so like this one? so bitter~~ and all and bla bla .. *emo kid i wanna hurt myself cut wrist and eat worms* no lah.. i'm not bitter i just couldn't care less anymore. because i'm tired of bullshit and people. people who claim this and that... tapi inside you know they can't be trusted. so yeah i'm sparing you people from bullshit.

had an awesome weekend. wanted to go cycling to shah alam on christmas day but 41 performed at awakening studio with akta angkasa, killeur calculateur, orbit cinta benjamin, and pusher. lama tak main gig. but our set was tight. nanananice :) big thanks to jinneh, alif and faiz for coming!

on saturday night i went to delicious in bangsar then to bar itallia in changkat to celebrate ray's birthday. i sooo am in love with bar itallia's open air rooftop with its comfy floor cushions, gelato and drinks selection.

got home pretty late. before zul sent aaron home, we went to the car wash. YES zul had his car washed at 3 am in the morning at carltex ss17 because his car got bombarded by bird shit while we were at bangsar earlier.

she is so cute! and clean, smells good and well behaved. a shy and a lemah semangat cat. likes to chase after moving things. she's afraid of the yellow glove that i use for washing dishes. freaks her out. especially when i flip it up and down real fast like 'pek pek pek pek pek...'

she's afraid to go out of the house and doesnt like direct sun light. when i carry her to the door she'll panic and hide underneath my armpit and struggle to break free. so cute. but it's not cute when she scratches me while trying to break free. -.-

she was born on my roof underneath the water tank. she's a blessing. and i love her so muchh!! :) if you steal my cat, i'll roundhouse kick your face and run over your body with my bike before i hand you to the police for theft. and i am not kidding.

went riding with zul, ray and aaron from kj-uptown yesterday. so funny. aaron's crank arm fell off halfway then towards the end of the night his hub broke. huhu. poor guy. was just getting into the whole fixie thingy. i almost got into an accident. was going downhill really fast then at the traffic light must turn right at a corner i couldnt brake hard enough so i had to jump on the curb with my bike and jump down back. adrenaline sial!!! LOL
